BorderPass BD
Register once. Verify everywhere. Secure every journey.
A proposal deck for a national smart tourist registration & checkpoint management system. Today a traveller into a restricted region — Bandarban, the Chittagong Hill Tracts — fills the same form, hands over the same NID photocopy and waits in the same queue at every checkpoint, while officers re-write the same details by hand into paper registers that are impossible to search or verify. BorderPass BD replaces that with one digital travel pass: a tourist pre-registers from the app or web, receives a unique encrypted QR pass, and at each checkpoint an officer scans and verifies in seconds — every visit auto-logged and synced to a central platform in real time.
A slow, manual and repetitive process.
The manual checkpoint process frustrates everyone. Tourists fill the same form and submit the same NID photocopy again and again, carry multiple papers, and lose hours in queues. Officers write the same information repeatedly, manage mountains of paper records that are hard to store, search or verify — and with no way to cross-check, fake documents and false data can slip through unnoticed.
BorderPass BD turns that into a single digital flow: pre-registration, a QR digital pass, scan-and-verify at the gate, auto log & sync, and central monitoring. Authorities gain a live view of entries, exits and active travellers across every checkpoint, plus analytics — peak hours, popular routes, a geographic heatmap — and instant alerts for watchlist matches or unusual activity. It runs on affordable, widely-available hardware: an Android phone to scan, a standard computer, a POS printer, and the cloud.

Turning paper checkpoints digital?
Whether it's border tourism, event access or campus entry — one registration, one QR pass, one real-time view is the pattern. Let's talk about where it fits.
