A steel manufacturer runs one of the hardest fleets there is: heavy trucks hauling rebar and raw material between plants and sites, drivers to watch, fuel to account for, delays to explain and billing to reconcile — usually across disconnected spreadsheets and paper logs. The pitch is a single platform that pairs video telematics — real-time video monitoring, AI driver-behaviour analysis, live GPS, smart alerts — with a full vehicle management system: trip and delivery automation, fuel, driver and staff records, parts & inventory, finance and ERP integration, all under one login with role-based access.
Steel moves. The records don't keep up.
Steel logistics is unforgiving. Loaded trucks run long routes between plants, depots and delivery sites; managers can't see where a shipment is, whether a driver is speeding or idling, how much fuel a trip really burned, or why a delivery slipped — until it's already a problem. Accident logs, licence documents, punishment history, parts usage and billing all live in separate books that are slow to search and easy to game.
Autonemo VMS Pro folds it into one operation. Smart trip management runs each job from request → approval → plan → execution → trip report, with load and material tracking, ETA monitoring and digital proof of delivery. Video telematics and live GPS put a real-time, 360° view over the fleet, with smart alerts for over-speed, geo-fence and route deviation. Around that sit deep modules — fuel, driver & staff, vehicle rental, parts & inventory (tyres, batteries, other parts), garage and job cards, finance & accounts, HR, a driver-log-to-final-billing flow, a central file vault and a multi-channel communication system (SMS, email, WhatsApp, Telegram, push). It's ERP-ready too — REST APIs to GET/POST into SAP, Tally, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or any existing system. Dashboard figures shown in the deck — 128 deliveries, 92% on-time, 24 trips in progress — are illustrative sample data.
